Established in 2021 as Southeast Hemp Supply, we opened our first retail location in Huntsville, Alabama, February 2023. Proud to be the first premiere dab bar in Huntsville. When I started this journey, I saw an urgent need in the industry, a need for higher quality products and the education surrounding those products. So as consumer, and life-long advocate, I decided to do something about it. There is a shared space of recreation and wellness, and that is what you will find at The Shop. We are changing the industry…we are changing the narrative!

Whether it be mental or physical trauma, as humans, we spend a big part of our lives trying to heal our wounds. So why aren't we healing smarter? We should not have to risk instant addiction during this process, our medicines should make us better not worse. Knowing the risks...the life changing cost that some of today's medicines could cause, we have to find another way. There are natural options, safer and healthier options. This is the Way!

In December of 2019 I received a phone call from my Dad, a call I will never forget. He called to tell me that he had lung cancer, and he was starting to seek treatment. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer, and he started treatment in February of 2020. It was not easy for him…he was sick and in treatment, his anxiety was extremely bad in the mornings and at night, and he had been drinking alcohol his entire adult life. He needed help, he need healthier alternatives for his typical stress relief, which was now compounded by many other issues.
Luckily, he had a son that was passionate about the cannabis/hemp industry. So I talked with my dad to find out more about his symptoms, current medications, and his treatment side effects. I then began to bring him several different CBD and hemp based products to see what would work for him. After experimenting with a few different things, I was able to form a good healthy regiment for him to use throughout his treatment. It helped him with his anxiety, side effects from his treatment, his overall mindset, and most importantly it helped him cut back on his alcohol intake.
Although he went through some great treatment…it just wasn’t enough. I lost my dad in February of 2021, far too soon. Closure is sometimes hard to find, however, I do have some peace of mind that while going through his treatment, dealing with his family and responsibilities, and trying to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic, I was able to help ease some of his pain and anxiety.
After losing my dad, I thought about all the other people in his situation, thinking about those people that may not have family or friends knowledgeable about CBD. In addition to that, I saw a huge need for better quality product, knowledgeable retailers, and better customer service.
I have since been sourcing the highest quality products available on the market today and working on outreach to those in need.
